In november 2012, Hari Krishna and Rohit Bisht quit microsoft and wanted to do a startup. They wanted me to be their mentor, co-founder. I knew these two from the day they joined microsoft and closely worked with me. That was the time, I was very actively involved with microsoft accelerator and missionr&d, when I was seriously looking at technology startup eco system problem. So felt this is a great opportunity and invested money. Then started cloudgust, which spent time in multiple problems, re-wired itself couple of times and spent significant time in mobile, cloud technologies and finding a business problem. cloud gust has roughly 8-10 employees and all of them are hired from MissionR&D. Battula Kishore Hema Vishnu Pola Abhinav Varma Naresh Yarramsetti Ramya Chirukuri Srikanth Brahmasani Sampath Gurajada are all the alumni of missionr&d. Last six months they were spending time on a problem with another company (kustommade, more details around this, link etc you will see in the market soon) and found the synergy between them. So all the founders decided its good to merge this entity with the other company and as of 31st august 2014, cloudgust moved fully into kustommade. my first angel investment company got acquired into a bigger business and very happy to share this information with you all. More than my investment, I am very happy for Hari & Rohit who took lot of risk, and all my students who ended up with great product company which is going to compete in indian commerce business. wish you all good luck and the new journey starts from 1st sept 2014 and will be a blockbuster hit soon.
