In one of the most exciting games of the season, the Canmore Eagles scored 4 third period unanswered goals to down the visiting Camrose Kodiaks 4-3. The Eagles trailed 3-0 after 40 minutes, but were able to mount their biggest comeback of the season. Joe Serpico (14) scored the game tying goal with exactly 2 minutes left in regulation and Jordan Revie (15) got the home crowd going crazy as he scored the game winner with only 16 secs. left to give the Eagles, their first win of the season vs Camrose. Captain Nils Moser (2) and Jeremy Margeson (10) got the other Eagles goals. Margeson also added an assist to earn the Eagles star of the game. Canmores own Luke Simpson picked up a pair of helpers, while Trey Phillips and Connor Wilson kept their point streak alive to 11 and 9 games respectively. With the win, the Eagles improve their record to 28-18-3 for 59 pts. They are tied with the Okotoks Oilers for 3rd place in the South division and now have a 4 point lead on the 5th place Camrose Kodiaks. The Eagles and the Kodiaks are right back at it tomorrow night for the 2nd game of the weekend home doubleheader. Game time is 7 pm. Thanks for coming out tonight fans and see you tomorrow night!
