In order to change the cycle happening around us we have to start while theyre little. They say if little boys witness domestic violence it makes them 75% more likely to be an abuser. I pray Ty can prove this wrong! I focus 100% on communication with him, helping him learn to express himself with words and patience.......instead of an angry mouth or hand. Im trying to teach him to overlook the junk ........ and walk away. As mothers we need to stand up and show our daughters how to be strong and smart. Build their self worth and confidence. With every situation me and Makenzie have faced I am trying to teach her to fight for herself and others who cant fight for themselves the legal right way. Teaching her to be smart about her choices, to have NO TOLERANCE for boys talking down to her or touching her, and I remind her every day how wonderful she is. I am not the best parent and Im learning new stuff every day, yes my babies are spoiled, but Im a great mom. I know I am teaching them the right things and as they grow I see God living in their hearts. I love my babies and were blessed!
