In order to ensure fair play and a level competitive playing field, all players in the tournament will need to abide by the following conditions: Players and Teams - A person may only register once for the tournament, under one Facebook account - All of the players on the team must be identified by their registered Facebook account Tie Match In the event of a tie there is to be a 15 minute overtime round to determine the winner. Delay of Play If both teams agree, a match may be delayed up to 36 hours. The justification for a delay must be a force majeure event, such as a serious illness, infrastructure or server failure, unforeseen travel delay, etc. If both teams cannot agree to a delay, the match must be conducted as scheduled. Field Conditions In the event of poor “field conditions”, one of the two teams in a match may request a restart of the match within the first three (3) minutes of regulation play. The reasons include: - Involuntary disconnects by one or more of the teams’ players - Excessive lag or other unexplainable operational issues. Only one restart may be requested by each team. The restart must occur within 30 minutes of the first report. Substitution A player may substitute on a team, subject to the following restrictions: - Only one substitution is permitted per team. - A player may substitute on only one team. - A player is only eligible for a prize with their first team. Equipment - NO add-on hardware is permitted, unless it is declared to us, and accepted by us for use in the tournament. - NO macro software, keyboard accelerators, key mappers, auto-repeat settings, bots, targeting aids, etc., are permitted. - NO modifications or changes to the SGAS software are permitted. You must be using the latest version of the SGAS software. - NO modifications to networks, network traffic, network drivers, operating systems, etc., are permitted. Verification All of the members of the winning team will have to certify that they and all of their team members have conformed with these rules at all times. This certification will be performed in conjunction with our attorney(s) in the appropriate geographic area(s). Bounties To ensure the integrity of the matches, a $100 bounty is being offered for instructions and that would allow us to make modifications or additions, or use any technique to increase or upgrade a player’s weaponry, health, lives, etc., by directly or indirectly modifying the game or its support files, or through addition of hardware, software, or through any other means (e.g. external hardware, operating system modifications). - If a modification to another player can be detected by us during play, the bounty will be doubled. - Only the first person reporting a particular technique will be eligible. - We must be able to duplicate your results for the bounty to be paid. - The bounty will be paid once per platform, per technique. - Final determination of payment shall be in our sole judgement and discretion.
