In proud partnership with Facebook, we recently co-hosted Download to Uplift in Sydney, to share research on the role of new technologies in providing greater access to information and support for the mental health of young people. We heard fascinating insights, with headspaces Chris Tanti noting that almost 8000 referrals to headspace were attributable to Facebook this year, while Orygen Youth Healths Associate Professor Rafael Calvo spoke of wellbeing as not an absence of mental illness, rather a lifelong process that can be supported by technology.
