In reading today I was impressed by Hebrews chapter 12. We love of course chapter 11, the faith chapter. However do not stop there. Chpt. 12 is pack with counsel for the child of God. Study shows the author (I believe Paul) is talking to the believer. We have such a wonderful Heavenly Father! He will, as we earthly parents do, chastise us. In this He is showing His love. He goes on to instruct us how to behave and respond as His child. I was especially touched by the verse 15. Many have mistakenly tried to use this verse to say we can lose our salvation but that is out of context. I especially am moved by the last part concerning that root of bitterness. We must see with all the other lessons that how we respond to these teaching days by the Lord will effect OTHERS, especially the unsaved. May we just know our Saviour loves us and knows what is best for us at all times,
