In relation to Water charges please read this, ive been listening to a solicitor talking about this today an this is what I gathered from what he said.A CONTRACT IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN TWO OR MORE PEOPLE WHERE BY ALL PARTIES INVOLVED AGREE TO THE SAID CONTRACT.IF THERE IS A PROPOSAL OF CONTRACT TO ANOTHER PERSON AND THAT PERSON DOES NOT SIGN NOR RETURN A FORM IE FOR YOUR WATER CHARGES THEN THERE IS NO CONTRACT IN PLACE. There will be estimated bills sent out and they will then try to tell you that you owe x amount which is ridiculous as this takes us back to point 1 that THERE IS NO CONTRACT IN PLACE AND YOU CAN NOT BE CHARGED FOR NO CONTRACT BEING IN PLACE. THEY ALSO CAN NOT TURN YOUR WATER OF NOR ARE YOU UNDER ANY OBLIGATION TO DISCLOSE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. Please be wide to these terms.
