In response to my comment that it is foolish to generalize about dogs. A pro BSL person said,We generalized when we passed laws concerning drunk driving. We have a canine breed that is mauling and killing like no other in history, that is not a generalization. It is a fluke when a retriever doesnt want to fetch a ball or a border collies doesnt want to herd, those are few and far between. Pits were bred to kill, so a good pit that doesnt want to kill, is a fluke. Roll those dice, take your chances, its only your life. Lifes funny because moments later I saw this video in my newsfeed. Im so happy to know hes concerned for me but I still dont buy into his generalizations. Im far more concerned getting into my car. 951 people died in my state last year from traffic accidents. Im confident that my dogs will be like the millions of other pit bull type dogs that go through their lives without harming anyone.
