In response to the question: “How Should I Rededicate Myself to Jesus Christ?” If you have fallen or taken the wrong path, there is still great hope for you. You can still have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ; you can still have the flame of your love reignited and kindled; and you can still walk as close or closer than you’ve ever walked with Him. Rededicating yourself to Jesus Christ can be a very powerful way of renewing your spiritual relationship with God. You don’t have to live your life as if you are an alien to God or an outsider from His promises. God is constantly looking for ways to reconnect with those who have lost their way in life’s journey. This is the primary reason that He gives the parable of the lost sheep. Jesus expressly stated that when a Shepherd loses a single sheep He will leave the 99 who are safely in the fold to go out and search for the one He has lost. That is the mind of God towards me, you, and anyone else who loses his/her way in this life’s journey. God is concerned about relationship and He wants to have a wonderful relationship with you. In Galatians 6:1 God gives us insight on how we are to help those who have fallen and He also provides us with understanding on what we should do if we have lost our way. In summarizing, He tells us that if we see our brother or sister get caught in sinful practices that we should restore them by using a gentle approach. This does not mean that we are supposed to be gentle in every situation, but it means if we see our brother or sister struggling we should do everything we can to turn him/her back to God. What this verse of scripture teaches us is that God is not done with a Christian who has sinned, He is actively trying to regain their time, attention, and place with Him. If you are a Christian believer and you are struggling in your walk with the Lord, I want to reassure you that you can have a much more meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. Rededicating yourself to Christ is the way you begin this process; but what is rededication? Rededication to Jesus Christ can be summed up with these 5 points: 1 – Rededicating your life to His Lordship (Jesus you are my Lord) 2 – Rededicating your habits and practices to the Bible (Help me to read your word daily) 3 – Rededicating daily time to Jesus in prayer (Help me to pray to you daily) 4 – Rededicating at least one day a week to joining together with other believers in worship 5 – Rededicating your life to service and charity in the name of Jesus (Help me to give to your cause) *For any believer that has never been baptized or has been disconnected from Jesus Christ for a long time and is unsure of his/her salvation you should seriously consider being BAPTIZED in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins (Acts 2:38).
