In the Book of John chapter 3, Nicodemus comes to Jesus and tells Him, Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” Its likely that Nicodemus felt a little awkward talking to Jesus and didnt know how to start the conversation. What was Jesus response? Instead of saying, Why yes, Im a great teacher, cant you tell by my miracles? You wanna see another miracle now? He went right to the heart of the matter. Verily I say unto you, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. He doesnt need to beat around the bush. He knows our deepest needs even before we bring them up, because He knows us.
