In the Fairfield Paper today is an article about development - TopicsExpress

In the Fairfield Paper today is an article about development projects going before council tomorrow night. A 207 (I think apartment but not sure) off red top road, another development of 143 single family homes off red top rd, and another 64 unit single family subdivision southeast of red top road. Council will consider a general plan amendment from commercial to residential for the developments. If you have an opinion one way or the other on these topics now is your chance to be heard. You can view the agenda report at fairfield.ca.gov/gov/city_council/agendas_and_minutes/2014_agendas/september_16_2014_city_council_meeting.asp if you click on the upper right agenda packet / laser fiche you can then go the page for this item (Business Item # 13) on my computer it was on page 155. I see that under the fiscal impact section staff has stated there is no direct fiscal impact for these projects. This concerns me as I wonder if that means they will NOT be planning for infrastructure impacts (roads/sewer/water) and additional impact to police and fire.
