In the Flash, episode 5, a piece of bomb shrapnel fused with someones DNA. Are they even trying to make decent pseudo-science? This is even more unbelievable than when Seth Brundles DNA fused with that of a fly but not with that of all the microorganisms in his telepod. (Not to mention the fact that it makes no sense for a telepod to operate at the cellular rather than atomic level.) And this, after (Flash episode 1) a group of three physicists convinced a medical hospital to release a comatose man into their custody for medical treatment. And they somehow have the funds to keep operating their partially destroyed particle accelerator even after they have been disgraced in the scientific community.
