In the Hobby Lobby Supreme Court ruling, Hobby Lobbys owners won - TopicsExpress

In the Hobby Lobby Supreme Court ruling, Hobby Lobbys owners won the right to exclude birth control coverage in the insurance plans covering their (mostly female) employees. Why? Because they said covering this essential health care violates their personal religious beliefs. And yet, hypocritically, the companys retirement plan includes mutual funds that hold stock in companies that manufacture the very birth control they fought access to for their employees. But it doesnt end there. With the millions theyve made with their chain of craft stores, among other projects Hobby Lobby is building an $800 million Bible-dedicated museum in D.C. (around the corner from the Smithsonian!). Perhaps scariest of all, theyre looking to write a Bible curriculum to be placed in our nations public schools. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Hobby Lobby, but thats only the beginning of the companys well-laid plans for a theocracy. The good news is, you can use your dollars to shut this whole thing down. Sign the pledge to boycott Hobby Lobby and commit to spending your hard-earned money elsewhere
