In the New Testament, the Bible speaks about guarding our minds to KEEP the enemy out, and to KEEP the enemy from deceiving us with his lies.... Just like when God told Adam to KEEP or to TEND the Garden to block the enemy from coming in... But Adam failed because Satan came in and deceived him; thereby tricking him into believing that God was holding out on him, which led to him partaking of the wrong tree (Law); resulting in the downfall of man and the stripping of his authority over the earth until Jesus came to restore it. In this same way, our minds are a type of Garden... and we have the same command that Adam had, to TEND to our garden (mind) as to KEEP the enemy out.... So its our job to tend to and keep our garden filled with Gods Word so that we can block the enemy from entering and stealing what is ours by Grace through using his crafty lies, just like he did with Adam... Selah.
