In the beautiful movie Jûsan-nin no shikaku, samurai Shinzaemon Shimada is shown a woman with arms, legs and tongue have been severed by the evil Lord Naritsugu Matsudaira, whose cruel behavior is threatening the peace of Feudal Japan in 1844. She is nonetheless able to hold a brush with her mouth, and she writes a request to Shinzaemon to vindicate her and all the other victims by slaughtering Naritsugu and his samurais. It is a lesson of high morality, showing that truth cannot be suffocated or concealed, as it will come out anyway... and justice will follow. I dedicate this thought to the wonderful country that is hosting me now, and to my Japanese friends. Arigato!
