In the framework of the campaign “tolerate to spread peace”, Fraternity Center (Birati) for Democracy and Civil Society in collaboration with “Ra’s Al-‘Ayn lawyers’ association” held a symposium in Ra’s Al-‘Ayn (Serêkanîye)’s office. The symposium was attended by figures of the city’s components. And it was to enhance the culture of tolerance and coexistence among city’s components of Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs and Armenians. The discussions focused on the difficulties that face civil peace and the necessity of ongoing work to achieve the endorsement of a civil peace document for the region. This step is to preserve the values and principles of coexistence based on human rights and tolerance culture.
