In the long term it will be the car of national production which however is already realized on the new engineering and constructive principles: a bronekapsula for crew, an uninhabited tower, removal from a zone of crew of a unit of fire, automation of management and conducting fight and a number of various decisions. Actually it will be a prototype of the new tank of Russia. I. Korotchenko also noted that after that the French or Israeli tanks wont be in the Russian army. As earlier it was reported, at a September exhibition of arms in Nizhni Tagil, the new T-90MC tank was presented. However, according to I. Korotchenko, the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation will already make purchases of tanks within cooperation of Armat. As for the existing tank park T-72 and T-90, they within the works which are carried out by Ural Carriage-Building Plant over T-90AM will be modernized, but serial purchases of these tanks wont be any more. Purchases will be only on the Armata project, after creation of the tank, - he explained.
