In the name of Allaah, the most beneficial, most merciful RAMADAN FEED THE NEEDY Less than 50 days to Ramadan, how are we gearing up? Alhamdulillah, its almost that special time of the year again. It is around the corner and the countdown has already begun. Ramadan Feed the Needy is back again with bigger plans this year In shaa Allaah. Last year Ramadan Feed the Needy planned on feeding 10 families and we surpassed our initial goal of 10 and fed 150 families altogether. A lot of kind hearted people donated (May Allaah accept and reward them, Ameen) and our food packs were sent to people who we felt really needed it like the elderly, widows and also those who struggle to make ends meet. This Ramadan In shaa Allaah, We plan to feed as many muslims as we can through the generous donations of our kind hearted brothers and sisters like you and I. Allaah(swt) said in the Quran; Who is he that will loan to Allaah a beautiful loan, which Allaah will double to his credit and multiply many times? (2:245) [Brief Breakdown] N250, you will feed a brother/sister with a full iftar meal. N1000, you will feed a family (of 6) for one day. N7500, you will feed a person for the entire month N15000, you will feed a family (of 6) for the whole month. The parable of those who spend their substance in the way of Allaah is that of a grain of corn : it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains.
