In the nineteenth century, hundreds of thousands of European women - TopicsExpress

In the nineteenth century, hundreds of thousands of European women were dying of childbirth fever until a Viennese obstetrician named Dr. Semmelweis rediscovered biblical hygiene. Dr. Semmelweis went against the grain of established medical practice and asked every doctor and medical student to wash their hands between deliveries (and autopsies). When they did, the death rate dropped by 90 percent! [The priest] shall take off his garments, put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place. ~ Leviticus 6:11 Not only is washing your hands a good idea to combat germs, but when you are finished, invigorate your senses by splashing cold water on your face and running your hands and wrists under the cold water tap.
