In the recent Tholon paper dated August 2013, it shows that 75% of graduates in technical courses in India and more than 85% of graduates in general courses are still unemployed. For one, the Indian government has been very supportive in terms of providing education to its people. In 2007, the Prime Minister announced the establishment of 1,600 industrial training institutes ( ITIs) and polytechnics, 10,000 training institutes and 65,000 vocational centers to fill in the gap of the various positions needed in the workplace. In recent years, the country realize that the knowledge provided in schools are not just enough to equip them to be capable in handling the jobs in the market for although there are so many graduates, there are few capable enough to be hired to handle the work available in the market. mb.ph/fit-for-work/
