In the story of Ganymede ( Aquarius) the Water Bearer is a beautiful youth, abducted by Zeus - god of Fire. Could be allegory of the transformation of the waters, space, matter by the fire of Mind, so it becomes reborn as a Phoenix in the role of spiritual teacher. “Youthful Waterman, who from upturned pot pours forth his stream, of magical Order, likewise bestows skills which have affinity with himself: how to divine springs under the ground and conduct them above, to transform the flow of water so as to spray the very stars. We need today is for sound teaching as to the laws of thought, and the rules which govern the building of those thought-forms which must embody the ideas sent forth from the universal divine Mind. Men must begin on the subjective planes of life to work out the needed order. When this is realised, we shall have every important group of men engaged in world affairs. The powers of the magical age are many and one of the reasons why the seventh ray is now making its appearance is that, owing to the rapid perfecting and integration of the human personality, the higher integration between soul and personality is today more possible and more easily accomplished than ever before. The idea is a singular result of processing input from our thinking senses.
