In the thoughtful words of Chagi Chesir: Greetings friends, As some of you may know, tonight there is pretty big event at Northeastern featuring many members of the Israeli Knesset and other major dignitaries. It is receiving national attention, compounded by Northeasterns recent suspension of their SJP Chapter. They are expecting a lot of opposition and protesters, so naturally the entire Pro-Israel tent is trying to rally and make sure a strong Pro-Israel presence is there. I think it is imperative that we show a large presence, regardless of your position within the pro-Israel tent. This is an excellent opportunity, regardless of your affiliation or disagreement with any Israel Club in particular (BIPAC, J-Street, Bview, BZA, SAIPA, whatever.), to simply be Pro-Israel. The fb event is linked below, and I know Dana Kandel is still able to get tickets for anyone interested. I am not asking for people to blindly show up and yell—that helps no one. We want to show support for, if nothing else, an open dialogue. Show civility and the ability to respond rationally. People will be yelling and cursing, show them we can talk. See you there, Chagi
