In the wake of out break of Cerebrospinal Meningitis popularly known as CSM in some parts of the north, I think that the Ministry of Health together with its partners owe it a duty to carry out an intensive sensitization education on this unfortunate development. Indeed, the heat situation up north is reaching alarming proportions because the daily temperatures as they are now, keep hovering around 37 degree Celsius to 42degree Celsius. This conditions make it congenial for this deadly CSM to occur. There is therefore the need to intensify public education to sensitize people especially households on the need to open the doors and windows (their sleeping rooms) in the night to ensure enough ventilation in the rooms. People must as well avoid overcrowding in rooms during sleeping hours in thge night during this hot period to prevent this deadly CSM. May God save us all.
