In the words of my classmate, look at all the attention you got from cutting your hair and shaving, imagine if you did something important. Well donating my ponytail will hopefully be important to someone but shes correct, I got a lot of traction out of something that most men do quite often. So lets clear up some of the questions and implications, in no particular order. 1. I was not abducted and replaced with a clone, though I did see a pod in the garage the other day but then there is a lot of stuff in that garage. 2. There was no bet and I wasnt drinking (most know I dont drink at all). 3. Contrary to some comments, this has happened before. Four times since high school, counting this time. 4. No, I will not start wearing a suit, shave my head or continue this look any longer than it takes for my beard and hair to grow back. 5. The last time I was beardless and without a ponytail was 7 years ago. BTW, the tail was 20 long. 6. Of all the Look-a-Like suggestions, Mr. Turtle is sadly the closest. 7. The hat goes back on immediately, I can only subject my public to so much stress without consequences. 8. For those that think I look better this way, especially sans beard, please contact your optometrist immediately for an appointment or turn in your drivers license. 9. For those that wanted pics with me looking like this and playing the bass, come on out to the next gig and take some. 10. Lastly regarding the Daily Face Scrappers, you guys are nuts, friggin nuts.
