In this article the authors explain that the early vaccine (Vaca, coming from the word "Cow" was introduced by "Lady Mary Wortley Montagu"in 1717. The authors pose the same questions then as we do now. Was the prevention of disease then because of early vaccination (Opening the skin from animals and human to human) or was it because the wealthy had better access to nutritious food and a cleaner environment? Perhaps this is why we continually see articles in which our most educated, or our most wealthy, refuse vaccines? It was a failing experiment then as it is now with 1 in 6 kids having Developmental Disabilities, 1 in 50 Autistic which equates to around 1 in 29 boys as the list of 70 childhood vaccines continue to grow.
