In this desease the patient, in time of sleep, imagines he feels an uncommon oppression or weight about his breast or stomach, which he can by no means shake off. She groans, and sometimes cries out, though oftener she attemps to speak in vain. Sometimes she imagines herself engaged whth an enemy, and, in danger of being killed, attemps to run away, but finds she can not. Sometimes she fancies herself in a house that is on fire, or that she is in danger of being drowned in a river. She often thinks she is falling over a precipe, and the dread of being dashed to pieces suddenly awakes she!.
