In this scenario, I can remember my Christian Living Teacher in Holy Cross Sasa who discussed about a COMMUNITY in ACTION. She said that Community is like a stickbroom (walis tingting); that a goal is achieved if Sticks are grouped together. She also discussed about an ACTION done by an INDIVIDUAL towards a COMMUNAL goal. An individual may be doing its respective roles in different approaches, time and spaces -- yet every individual is called to abide and align in the achievement of the common goal. Let us note that when a Stick strikes, it brings sticky impact than a stickbroom. Question: Is it better to be a STICK or a STICKBROOM? Or we are in need of the STRING who will align and unite the STICKS to become a STICKBROOM?
