In this special WSSN production, 5th grade students Mason, Brody, Lauren, Ellye, Grace and Kristan share an anti-bullying rap they created as part of a class assignment in Ms. Moyers music class. Students had learned the tune and history behind the protest song We Shall Overcome. Their assignment was to come up with their own cause, change musical elements of We Shall Overcome in order to convey their message, then perform what they came up with for the class. They picked ending bullying as their cause, changed the lyrics, and came up with the rap rhythm all on their own! vimeo/111950885
