In this time of craziness, its important to go to the source to find out accurate information. I am seeing posts alleging that the WWII Memorial was closed by the President. This is not correct. The memorials located on the Mall in Washington DC are part of the National Park Service. There is no money for the NPS (part of the Department of the Interior) so it has closed the National Parks. (See below) "Due to the lapse in appropriated funds, all public lands managed by the Interior Department (National Parks, National Wildlife Refuges, Bureau of Land Management facilities, etc.) will be closed.
