In todays Gleaner online..... Police mourn another colleague Published: Sunday | November 17, 2013 Police Constable Nyrone Walfall was yesterday remembered as one who offered the highest-quality service during his tenure at the Technical Services Division of the Jamaica Constabulary Force. Walfall was eulogised yesterday at the Maranatha Gospel Assembly in St Andrew, with mourners describing him as jovial and dedicated. The cop lost his life last month in a motor-vehicle accident along the Portmore leg of Highway 2000. In her eulogy, Superintendent Millicent Thomas said Walfall was one who stood firm in his beliefs. One thing for sure, he displayed a high level of confidence. [He was] a young man who would not settle for mediocre standard and one who was not daunted easily. In the meantime, Arlene McBean, general secretary of the Police Federation, called on Jamaicans to pray perpetually for police officers. I invite the public … to pray for the Jamaica Constabulary Force because people might think that we are tough and we dont feel pain, but it is hard work, and so I urge you all to pray for their families, pray for the nation, said McBean RIP.....
