The actions of Ineos have shown that there are, and always will be, employers who see confrontation as an easier option than good industrial management. But this week has also shown how unions like Unite, and union leaders like Len McCluskey, are losing the ability to look after their own when that confrontation comes. So yes, he should be scared.
