The fire is burning in a steep remote area and is not easily accessible by fire crews. The fire started at about 10 acres and has now grown to a little over 17 000 acres. Current Situation: Concentrated containment efforts continue as many of the fire resources who’d been committed to this fire are returning to their home units. However remaining firefighting assets are being shifted to those few enduring active portions of fire on the eastern perimeter and few interior hot spots that continue to resist the elements for containment.
