Incoming rant. (I have to start by saying, I know, not all people that receive social assistance are like this. Some are actually trying to get off of it, make better lives for them and their children and understand, they are spending hardworking tax payer money.) I was in our local mall and I am observant when Im out. There were kids, nowhere near their parents, wandering around a HUGE food court, while the parents spoke loudly, about how they were going to party this weekend and get drunk and high. There was also a women, with a small baby in a stroller, with a bottle of liquor in beside the baby. I find this to be, disgusting behaviour! I really wanted to just pick one (of the many) child up and just stand there to see how long it took the parent to notice. Then when they freak out, say calmly, You want to be happy Im a mom, child advocate and would never hurt a child. I could have been a pedophile! Pay attention! Where is the parenting now a day? Faces stuck in phones while kids run all over.....wth is wrong with society? If youre more into drinking, partying and having your face in your cell phone, parenting probably isnt for you. Child abuse and neglect, is EVERYONES business! Get Involved!
