Incredible talent! Mr. BB Kerung from Gangtok (present address Omchung, West Sikkim) entertains the school family by playing musical instruments made of indigenous resources. He reminds of the rich art and skill of our forefathers and stressed on the need of conserving it as the source of our identity. His art of humour stimulates the sense of students and teachers to a great extent. Singing of cuckoo bird and nightingale, barking of dogs, chirping of numerous birds, murchunga and binayo, bamboo flutes and whistles all enjoyed in a same place. For the first time in life, surprising to see someone playing nasal flute. Great!! Message : Love your rich culture, follow it and continue it else you are lost. Many many thanks to BB Kerung jyu.
