Incredibles Sequel Is a Go! Pixar confirms followup to 2004 animated superhero family film. It appears that fans of Pixars 2004 film, The Incredibles, have reason to rejoice because it has just been confirmed that the sequel is greenlit, with Brad Bird set to return. Unfortunately, Pixar has their films listed through 2016 so there may be a little bit of a wait. It has also been confirmed that the original film will be released in 3D. The Incredibles earned 631 million at the box office, and will join other Pixar sequels, Toy Story 2 and 3, Cars 2, Monsters Universtiy, and the soon to be released Finding Dory.
