Indeed ISKCON seems to have deviated from the core principles of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. The circumstances created by the top level authority of the institution which led HH Mhanidhi Swami to leave ISKCON and finally to take white-clothed Babaji attire from Nityananda Parivara, the ban imposed by GBC over the publication of HG Aindras Prabhu book and harrassing him in various ways(Of course his disapperance is also seen as some foul play) shows the erractic and diabolic behaviour of some top level men with all powers vested in their hands. The 1995 lectures of Gaur Govind Maharaj after his GBC meeting in which he is expressing his misfortune of being selected in the GBC.He has expressed his pain which he says is increasing year by year by being a part of GBC and he feels like a sowrd is always hanging on his head which can thrust at any time. The portion of Prabhupada Lilamrtam where Satsvaupradasa Gosvami admits that some of the closest disciples of SP (all Americans) had put SP under house arrest in his own quarters in then international ISKCON headquarters in Los Angeles, USA in 1974. For 10 days, SP was not allowed to go outside his room because such was the plan of few occidental disciples of SP who were made GBC by him. They wanted to teach this senile old man a lesson (according to their psychology). HDG ACBSP has wrote many letters to the then BBT authorities to not edit even a single comma in his writings. He had also said that I know the disease of you westerners who want to continuously change everything just like your Bible was changed 1000 times. Many such statements are recorded in his letters. These all evidences are sufficient to assert that ISKCON at present has deviated at large from the core ideology of Gaudiya Vaishnavism and the from the teachings and instructions of late-lamented HDG Bhaktivedenta Swami Prabhupada.
