Independence Day. When we stood up to the crown and said we should have the right to live our lives as we choose fit. Free of tyranny. So think on that for a moment my friends. Free to live our lives as we choose fit. Yet in this country, everyday, there are people fighting for that very right. To marry who we choose, to have the right to good and affordable health care. I could go on but the point is, if we are to celebrate INDEPENDENCE, we must celebrate it on a daily basis. We must not just say it we must live it in our hearts and souls and with the belief in every fabric of our bodies that we are all equal and independent of tyrannical rule not just by the government but free of it from those who would push, no, demand that we live by THEIR rules and morals. I do say happy birthday to this country that I fought for and would fight for again. But we must live that independence, that freedom, that belief that we are all equal, and only through understanding, and respect of disagreement through argument can we truly say we are independent in mind body and soul. These are my thoughts, my beliefs and I share them freely and without malice. I share them in hopes that we will all see that independence starts within us. Thank you for listening. FYI-FYS
