India asks: I am having trouble with vine borers. Every year (for the last 9 years) they get my squash, zucchini, melons and sometimes my cucumbers. I have wrapped the stems with tin foil, sprinkled Seven, grown them out of the tops of milk jugs, waited to plant until June, planted in April, left my chickens in the garden ALL winter to dig grubs. Everything I can find to do has been done. I have only had one crop of Zucchini in 9 years. Last year I planted in April and got one harvest before my plants died. What can I do?
