Inex Investments Chief executive Officer, Professor Samson Tembo - TopicsExpress

Inex Investments Chief executive Officer, Professor Samson Tembo says it is unfortunate that the country’s development agenda is being planned by foreigners. Professor Tembo said donors are lending money to Zamia and telling the country which projects to undertake, a situation he said is not acceptable. He has since urged Zambians and Africans as well to take control of their economy and run things their own way. Speaking to Sun FM News in an interview, Professor Tembo said the loans from the donor countries are meant to reap off the borrower as the interest rates are high and what they are doing is asking Zambia to reduce the prize of its mineral wealth which they then export as raw materials. He said roads and bridges are projects that will not pay the loans back and called on Zambia to take over its mines, which he said the country can run on its own and take charge of its economic direction.
