Infinium is urgently looking for Retail Analysts for one of its client which is Europes leading luxury retail brand. The ideal person should have a strong know how of buying and planning. The Key Responsibility Areas for the role will be as under: •Delivering category sales, Sell out, gross margin and turnover performance to meet the plan. •Monitoring and forecasting inventory levels at the relevant product and location level •Identifying slow and best sellers, responding quickly to maximize sales and minimize risks •Implementing the agreed markdown strategy and communicating to stakeholders •Ensuring all inventory targets are met, including stock turnover, terminal stock, and stock movements •Identifying inter-store transfer of stock and direct the distribution of goods to achieve store sales •Managing all aspects relating to the shipments, logistical processing and allocation function •Working with the Finance team to monitor overall inventory levels to plan and forecast •Identifying and evaluating sales and gross margin opportunities at the department level •Manage and coordinate product discontinuation, price changes and brand/item focus •Ensuring that product moves efficiently through the supply chain •Providing ongoing feedback and information to team members on sales results, competitive practices, and delivery issues , and other specific information which could impact the performance of the business and propose incentives to maximize sales performance at categories level, slow movers, etc •Responsibility for accurate and timely completion of OTB at the relevant product level •Maintaining OTB to manage forward buys in-line with department inventory targets •Carry out purchasing activities in line with the brand purchase plans. select the range, type, quantity of merchandise •Analyze market trends, consumer preferences , sell through, seasonal demands etc •Supports the promotional activities in the store and ensure the merchandise is available in time and in right quantities. Receive and analyze reports on the activities and provide recommendations when required •Manage the seasonal and product knowledge training of sales staff •Generates and sends various reports such as but not limited to Sell Through, Best & Slow Movers, Stores Performance, Individual Sales, Value effect, DSR, WSR, Monthly report •Ensure that the existing customer’s databases within the stores are continuously updated in an accurate and comprehensive manner •Conduct seasonal and ad hoc stock counts and report the results Knowledge, skills, and abilities: •Minimum 4 years of experience in buying or planning role within a renowned fashion brand.
