South Florida homebuyers act fast out of frustration with their competition and the actual housing shortage; making it possible to buy or sell a house in just 24 hours. 2. Frenzied homebuyers are making offers on the spot before someone else has the chance to do so, in what many observers call “a flash sale.” 3. Stiff competition from bulk buyers and all cash investors are aggravating the housing shortage in South Florida. 4. “Flash sales” are reducing the average time that a house goes from listed to contract. 5.
