Initially, when I heard of the bank robbery I was like “what the heck?” Then when I heard that he escaped on a bike, I laughed. Then I heard that he did not have a mask on, I was like really? Who does that? We as people are so quick to judge and laugh at others, especially when we don’t know the whole story. I read a comment stating that the young man isn’t mentally stable. I later felt bad for laughing at him. Then I started thinking that we are so quick to laugh at others downfall. Instead, we should ask ourselves what could have made someone rob a bank, without a mask and use a bicycle as a getaway vehicle. That whole picture doesn’t sound right. Instead of us finding joy and laughter in this we need to feel compassion for him and his family. Even if he is mentally stable, we should wonder what could have made someone do something like this in such a manner. Under no circumstances am I saying what he did was right. What I am saying where is the compassion for one another?
