Injection Molding Technician In this second shift position, the incumbent will sets up and operates injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials. 3pm to 12am Monday through Friday Job Functions: Quality checks Check daily production plan for production requirements Ensure all machines are operational and ready for production Operate injection molding machine and properly follow work procedures Install dies on machine according to product type. Ability to perform Die Maintenance Modify Machine conditions and complete trial. Ability to interact with Vendor for any maintenance or supplies issue. Assist in Investigating the root cause and implement countermeasures for all defects Maintain a safe working environment and be aware of impending hazards In the occurrence of any abnormal event, take immediate action, including fix/repair and reporting to immediate supervisor Keep area clean and organized Job Requirements: All processes experience in the work place and experience in QC. Injection molding experience Die modification experience Preferred Qualification: Ability to operate and maintain Injection Molding machine General knowledge of machine maintenance and safety standards Able to work flexible shift. Education/Experience: High School Diploma required Associates degree preferred and 2 or more years of related experience
