Injured Dog Otter. This lovely beast was found ill in woodland near Leeds. The locals were worried about him and after lots of enquiries they rang me. I arranged with the RSPCA to collect him and I met up with them at Wetherby to take him on. He was very weak and far too easy to handle. Sadly he died on the way to the vets. We examined him there and he had a massive infection throughout the skull. He was just too far gone, which is often the case with wild animals. Many people tried their very best for him including Annette, Jeanette,the local vllagers, Emma of the RSPCA and Battle Flatts Veterinary Clinic. I meet some dreadful people that maim and persecute wildlife and on the other hand I meet good people that try their best to help to help wildlife. Heres to 2015, Happy New Year.
