Inquiries are continuing after a car hit an office building in Belmont. About 8.40pm yesterday (Thursday 24 April 2014), a Holden Barina was travelling north on the Pacific Highway, when it swerved to try and avoid a Ford Falcon that had turned in front of it. As a result of the impact between the two cars, the Falcon has left the road and hit the wall of a local office building. There were no reports of injury. Both drivers were subjected to roadside breath tests which proved negative. The Barina was extensively damaged as a result of the crash. Engineers will assess the structural integrity of the building.
