Insecurity is a problem prevalent in the country and not just restricted to the North. We all know that there have been a increase in insecurity in other parts of the country, kidnappings armed robbery and other vices. So we are pained when people see it as a Northern affair. Instead of heaping blame on a particular region or part of the country, let us all look into the causes of these problems and try to bring an end to them. In the mean time, we need to look into the persistent problems of unemployment, poverty, hunger and inequality in our society. These form part of the causes of insecurity
