Insert 198 :) Moments later we got to the hospital... The paramedics rushed the mother into the hospital.. I followed to the ward yabana with the other paramedic guy.. Guy: please... Me: Im trying to rush with this baby! So please!! We got to the entrance of ward yabana then I put him on the moving bed thingie!! Aii walila again :( It really broke me!! Nurse: sisi are you related to them?? Me: no! Yes! Im his nanny.. She looked at me from top to bottom. Nurse: okay follow me!! I rushed with her and she got to a empty room and he put him on the bed and did dilo tsateng... I was actually cut by a glass but I didnt notice it till the nurse said it.. Nurse: sisi you are bleeding Me: No Im not!! I looked all over and yep!! I was bleeding.. She wore gloves and I sat down.. She wiped the blood off and put bandage on my wrist.. Me: thats much better.. Nurse: umuhle by the way! Me: thank you!! She went out and left me with the baby boy!! He was so small and he sucked on his thumb drugged and asleep.. I brushed his hair, dammit my heart felt bloody heavy... I sat there next to him and someone stood by the door.. That looked like a policeman.. Him: maam.. Im officer Smitty.. He walked towards the baby and I.. Me: hi.. Im Pearl Anderson.. Him: are you the nanny?? Me: honestly Im not!! Him: but the nurse told me so.. Me: I told her that... Him: oh.. Me: so I took the baby out first and put him and his chair carefully on the floor when my boyfriend came to take him.. I struggled and took the lady out then I walked her far away the car to the side of the road cause it was about to blow up.. Him: ohh uhhmh?? Me: I sat there with her and the baby and the paramedics came and I came here with them.. The baby wouldnt stop crying when I put him down.. Him: oh!! we are very greatful for what you did!! Me: I wouldve done it for anyone.. I turned and looked at the boy.. He was awake!! And the nurse came in.. He checked him up and he looked fine.. Me: so how old is he?? Officer: 1 year old.. Me: so small but yet so sad!! Officer: maam we will contact you when we need anything. Me: please dont hesitate Officer.. Officer: have a good afternoon.. Me: bye!! He walked out and I was left with the nurse.. Me: can I see her mother? Her: Shes in ICU... Severe head trauma. Me: what?? Her: yeah.. We still looking for her family.. Me: please let me know if there is anything.. Her: we will.. She walked out.. I sat and I spoke to Erick.. Me: aiich, you so handsome!! I wish I could eat you up.. :) yes you.. Ima eat you up.. I walked out and left Shaun with Erick.. We walked into the office and he stood up. Dr: please maam have a seat. Me: thank you! Dr: the mothers state is not looking too good.. She might take a while to heal and we already have too many children in the centre.. Me: oh!! Wow!! Dr: we are glad that you you saved her life but shes not responding as yet. Me: dont give up on her doctor. Dr: we wont but we will need someone like you to take the baby with.. Woah; What was he saying!! I shook my head and pulled my one ear. Me: excuse me? Dr: please maam.. Me: but Im just a stranger to them. Dr: Im sure the mother will have a lot to thank you for.. Me: can I atleast think about it?? Dr: sure no problem.. I stood up and walked towards the babys ward.. On the way I thought to myself, having Erick in my life wouldnt be such a bad idea.. Lolita was coming and I had no cooking clue on how to raise a child... I had alot to consider.. I got into the ward. Shaun looked at me. Him: ahh! Whats wrong now? Me: the Dr. wants me to be his foster-mother just till the find their family or her mother recovers.. Him: what?? You only 16 not even legal to sign any document and they want to give you a baby.. Me: it wouldnt be such a bad idea.. Lolita is on the way.. He sighed Him: okay.. I told your mom what happened... Me: but a foster parent though?? Then I heard what about a foster parent I looked by the door and well, it was noDollie... Me: oh nothing.. Shaun: no its not nothing.. His mothers Dr wants Pearl to be a foster parent just till they find his family or his mother wakes up.. She looked at the baby boy.. Mom: ai ke.. Why cant he stay here with the other children in the Centre? Me: Dr thinks the boy and I have a bond and his mother will be greatful and stuff.. Mom: but you are only 16 Me: but you can do the signing then I take care of him.. Yoh mama, you shouldve seen how badly he cries, it makes me very sad.. Mom: I think Erick will give you some training on babies.. Shaun: I think so too, I mean I dont mind.. The nurse came in with his car seat.. It had blood stains but nothing serious. Nurse: this belongs to him. Me: I think so! Yes! She put it down and went out.. Mom: I hope I wont regret what Im about to do.. Shaun: trust us!! Babies are suppose to have proper care around a family.. Mom: okay!! Nonki lets go sign.. We walked out the room and went straight into the Drs office.. Me: Dr, this here is my mother Mrs. Andrews to be in a few days.. Dr: oh hi, nice to meet you madam.. Mom: so where do I sign?? Dr: usually this process takes a long long time, but we dont have that.. There are alot of children who end up being adopted.. The mothers situation is bad, she has severe head injury and her neck still needs support.. Mom: oh its serious Dr: yes maam it is.. His mother will recover but it might take a while, her body is very fragile.. So will you? Mom: yes, where are the papers.. She read them carefully and nothing was against her terms, when the mother is fully recovered she can take him back.. She signed the papers and the discharge papers... Dr: he seems stronger now, but please bring him once every two days just to check on him.. Me: I will bring him everyday to visit his mother.. Dr: thank you.. Mom: have a good evening Dr. we stood up and we walked out the office... We got to the ward and the nurses were already taking the drip off him... Shaun: so?? Me: so Im his foster parent... Nurse, could I see his mother?? Nurse: okay.. Come with me.. We walked out and had to go to the Third floor of the hospital.. ICU. We got there and went into her room.. Iyooh it was bad.. I imagined myself being in that bed after the accident.. It just broke me!! I didnt wanna cry so I left.. I went back down, Mom and Shaun were already outsde.. Me: I wanna go home... Mom was holding Erick and Shaun the car seat.. Mom: you have to pass by the pharmacy and Spar.. Me: okay!! Tell me what we need to buy.. Mom: buy Formula Milk Nido, dettol, wipes, pampers, purity, baby soap, cloths and maybe some toys.. Me: and the pharmacy?? Mom: you dont have to go there actually.. Me: okay. I took Erick from her, hauw he giggled mense! Mom kissed him and I kissed mom... She walked to her car and I walked into Shauns golf.. I sat at the backseat cause Ericks car seat was still dirty.. We drove to Spar. Me: baby! Him: hmm?? Me: are you okay?? Him: yes Im okay, just love seeing you happy.. You gonna be a good mother.. Me: dont flatter me :p .. What time is it and wheres my handbag?? Him: its 6pm and Tuks has it.. Me: but all my cards are in there! Him: well use mine... Me: okay!! We got to Spar and we all got off, my t-shirt still had a bit of blood stains but I hid them cause I was holding Erick.. We bought him all the neccessary things including bottles, cerelac and some fruits for my Lolita.. Me: I havent had water today.. Shaun: are you starving my baby?? Me: no, Im not.. He took two 1 litre bottles of water :o and we went to pay.. Shaun held the plastic bags and we went to the car.. He took me home.. I got there and I went into the house to put Erick down cause he was sleeping.. Then I went out to help Shaun with everything.. I put the bags down and the car seat in my room.. I walked him out, kissed him goodnight and he left.. I went back to my room, took a shower and I slept
