Insert 31 I got home and found ma playing no Nhlaka. It was nice seeing him, we hardly see him since khulu took him to stay with her. Me: Afternoon Family :). Ma: Hey baby. Nhlaka: Sesi :D ungiphatheleni?? I searched my pockets and found a lollipop. I gave it to him. He was so happy that he came to hug me. I smiled and hugged him too. He let go then I went to my room to change. I wore shorts and a tank top. Then went to the kitchen to eat. I found pizza on the counter. I didnt ask any questions I just went ahead and took 4slices poured some cool drink then went to eat. After eating I washed my dishes. Ngaceda and went to the dinning room Nhlaka was sleeping on the floor shame :). Ma was now watching tv so I joined her. We watched movies laughing together. I enjoyed that. Later on khulu came to fetch Nhlaka who was still sleeping she took him and left coz they were in a hurry Ma and I were left alone so ma went to warm the pizza and served. We ate and I did the dishes. Ma: We have to sleep early coz inkonzo iqala ngo 7:30am so we must be done by 7am. Me: Ok ma let me go and prepare what Ill be wearing. Ma: Ok do u have your speech ready coz u in the program u will be speaking as Itus friend. Me: Ill speak from the heart ma. Ma: Ok then. Off u go. I went to my room. I took out my school skirt and shirt and went to iron em. I finished then went to take a very long warm bath. I sat there thinking about my life as a whole. Am I happy with how it is? Am I greatful for what I have and the people I have? I got out and went to my room lotioned myself and wore my nightie and slept. #NextDay. I woke up at 05:30am. Did my bed and went to bath. I finished at 06:15. I wore my full uniform and fixed my hair. I let em loose and wore a bandanna. I went to the kitchen and made myself cereal and ate. Ma came to the kitchen while I was eating. She was wearing a black dress and red heels. Ma: Morning sweety. Me: Morning ma unjani? Ma: Im fine and u? Me: Im ok I guess. I never thought this day would come so fast. Ma: I know baby but u really need to be strong today more than ever. I know it hurts but kuzodlula all in good time. We left for Itus house. When we got there people were already there others we arriving. We went in and sat on the second row from the front. Andile also arrived with her mom and they came and sat next to us. MamaAndi: Sanibonani. Us: Yebo unjani? Her: Ngiyaphila. Nguwe uMbali? Me: Yeba ma yimi. Her: Ngaze ngajabula ukukwazi. Andile speaks highly of u. Me: Nami ngiyajabula ma. The family got in. The choir started a hym and we sang. The pastor opened with prayer. Then he started with the service. Someone spoke for the family,church, abomakhelwane, the principal also spoke. Then it was my turn. I went to the front. I was shaking. Me: Greetings to all. Well Im here to speak about Itumeleng who was my friend,sister and my other half. We met while we were in Primary and since that day we were always together :( She was the most loving,caring friend Ive ever had. She knew how to make people feel better wen they were down. She was so loud and Im more quiet but that didnt matter wen we were together #Paused. I know shes in a better place now even though it hurts losing her. Knowing Ill never see that bubbly face of hers anymore :( :( Hamba kahle my friend. Ill forever love u! U will always be in my heart till we meet again. I went to sit down and cried. Ma brushed my back while Andi was holding my hand so tight. The pastor read from the bible. I dont even remember which book he was reading coz my mind was not there. All I was thinking about was Itu!! The service was finished and we went to the cemetery. Wen we got there. The pastor continued then asked the family to come and pour sand emgodini. They went. Spha came to me and took me with to pay my last respect to my Itu :(
