Inspired by our Pro-Police post last night, a TFI follower Shreya Sethi(Name Changed) shared this story: On August 7th, i twisted my ankle right outside Karol Bagh Metro Station. I fell on the road and was lying there for a good 4-5 minutes. There were cops around, one of them stopped the traffic, almost picked me up and made me sit on the pavement. He then got me some ice from a vendor. When i was well enough to speak he asked me my name and address and if i wanted to go home. This is where i actually came to realize that they certainly are humane. When he asked me to get up, i could not. He checked my injury and told me that he thought i wasnt good enough to go back home. Then he took me to Sir Gangaram Hospital and to my utter surprise got all my tests done and a cast put on my leg. He did not let me pay for any of it, the tests, medicines and cast amounted to Rs. 1000 or more. He also did not leave my side till a friend arrived. He wasnt wearing a name tag and i dont remember how he looked but i pray to the almighty to bless him with the best. God bless you cop, I wish you get to read this thank you message from one of your admirers :)
