Instead of an ice bucket challenge I challenge Black men in America to come out of their slumber. I challenge Black men in America to dedicate themselves to God, family and righteousness. I challenge Black men in America to assume leadership and therefore responsibility for the future of our people. I challenge Black men in America to walk in dignity and respect and to gather your strength. I challenge Black men in America to become once again the security and strength of our people. I challenge Black men in America to stop killing one another so others will know we value our own lives. If we accept this challenge our fortunes will turn in short order. The conscience of the whole world depends on us regaining our sense of ourselves because until all are free and engaged all are shackled and diminished.
